    The Opportunity

    Our Sandringham Centre has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated ECEC Educator to join our incredible team! 

    As an integral part of the Mayfield team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.

    • Your main responsibilities will include:
    • Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.
    • Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
    • Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.
    • Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
    • Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
    • Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
    • Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.

    You

    • Working towards or hold a minimum of a Certificate III in ECEC (of ACECQA approved equivalent);
    • Valid WWCC
    • Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain);
    • Working knowledge of Child Safe Standards
    • Passion for the Early Childhood sector.

    In addition, our successful applicant will demonstrate a genuine passion & motivation for the Early Childhood sector, including a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (learning frameworks, regulations & standards).

    You will enjoy communicating with, and building trusted relationships with children, their families and the wider community.
